2] Always fold for the rear leg, as if stepping forward;
3] The rear foot moves over 2 shoulder widths (= 1/2 turn);
4] Pivot, block, and Ke-I upon completion of the technique.

EXCEPTION:
INSIDE BLOCK
a) With the right leg forward, look over the shoulder of the folding arm (left). (The left leg at this point is considered the front leg).
b) The left leg pulls back to the right leg (in a cat stance, turning 180 degrees) with the left leg forward. Hands remain in an inside block told; the right arm extends, solar plexus level.
c) The left leg steps forward into a front stance position: complete the block, lock out the stance, and Ke-l (all done simultaneously).
