    Over time he as had the opportunity to train, teach and workout with some of the most recognized and respected names in the Karate world today.  Presently, he is a Professor 9th Degree Master in Tang Soo Do, 6th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 7th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido, a 7th Degree Black Belt in Shippalgi and a 7th Degree Black Belt in Gung Fu.

      To date, Professor Bloom has awarded more than 300 black belt degrees at various levels and has personally trained over 27 World Champions. 

     For the past 30 years Professor Bloom has lived in Thousand Oaks, CA. with his wife Alyson. Together they have four children, Bo (Black Belt), Ava (Karate Student), Jackson (Karate Student)  and Charlotte Ray (Future Karate World Champion). Alyson Bloom is a 4-time International champion and is the Director of operations at "Tom Bloom Karate".
